2022 Events
The Summer Poolooza event at the Mansfield Park pool was a collaboration between the SHCLT, City of Tucson's Ward 3 Office, Parks and Recreation, and DJ Ern Dollaz from 97.5 the Vibe. We gave away 486 free dinners prepared by local food trucks Gary's BBQ and Los 3 Politos and collected materials for our back-to-school drive
We sponsored and helped organize this Black history month pop-up in collaboration with Insider Events AZ to create a space for Black business owners to present their work while celebrating local artists, musicians, and culture.
2021 Events
Sponsored the annual DAT Event: Day After Thanksgiving Sugarhill Family Reunion, organized by the Sugarhill Coalition and DAT Committee
Sponsored the 2021 Sugarhill Block Party on the 4th Ave side of Mansfield Park, organized in collaboration with the Sugarhill Coalition. This event featured local musicians like OG Jacki Blu, free food by Grandma's Recipes Catering, the Pima County Library Book Mobile and info tables
